These Terms of Use explain what our Website participants can expect from The Center and what the Center expects from its participants. In using any of this Website, participants agree to the Terms of Use and the Privacy Policy, which is incorporated herein by reference.

The material and information provided by and through The Olive Tree Center is for entertainment, fun, personal enrichment / enhancement and Self-performance / improvement purposes.
There are no warranties or guarantees of specific outcome (s), improved performance or condition (s), express or implied, as a result of applying the information given by the Olive Tree Center. As is true of most endeavors, one can expect outcomes that reflect the amount of personal commitment, involvement and effort.

The information given by the Center is not intended to give medical advice or prescribe any particular physical technique / substance for medical or psychological problems. If you use any of the information presented, for yourself, which is your constitutional right, neither the Olive Tree Center or Melinda A. The Olive Tree Center, by its owner, Melinda A. Olea, disclaims all responsibility for any liability, loss, risk, personal or otherwise, which is incurred as a consequence, directly or indirectly, of the use and application of any of the contents given through the various programs, sessions, etc. This would include personal injury, including death, caused by one’s use or misuse of the site or its contents. However, if one is having personal difficulties for whatever reason, one might consider engaging in certain programs at a different time and / or seeking appropriate professional assistance. Participants agree to be free of the influence of mood-altering substances during the programs.
Copyright, Trademark, Trade Secrets, Patents etc. Proprietary Rights
The Content provided by the Center through written, audio and visual means is protected by both U.S and International copyright and other proprietary rights laws. All trademarks, trade secrets, patents, logos, slogans, names, sayings, phrases, etc. are also the proprietary property of The Center.
Participants agree to refrain from uploading, posting, reproducing, renting, copying, distributing, displaying, selling, publishing, transferring, transmitting, remove any copyright or other proprietary information from materials or create products derived from The Content, without express written permission from the Center, as to the specific part(s) desired. All of this applies to commercial and non-commercial purposes.
This includes, but is not limited to, advertisements, flyers, brochures, articles, written paperwork, lesson sheets, texts, images, Share Screen images, screen shots, graphics, digital downloads, audio / video clips, White board / PowerPoint presentations, guided visualizations / meditations and all other content materials. All social media advertisement and postings in Blogs from the Center or in other publications, are likewise protected. All Zoom, Webinar and other Video conferencing presentations, Video and Audio recordings, both live and recorded are also protected.
Participants are allowed to make hard copies of written materials for their own personal use only. Copyright, etc. notices and credits are to remain attached.
Photographs / Audio / Video
The Center assumes consent to use participants’ photographs, verbal, audio, and / or video images in promotional materials. Included would be any input into the session. You have options during the course of any recording as to the protection of your privacy,
Attendance in the session assumes permission to record both audio and video. You can choose to opt out by: 1) changing your name after hitting the participant’s button; and / or 2) closing off your video and audio. Breakout sessions will not be recorded.
Replays will be made available. If technical difficulties arise, that session will take place at the next scheduled date.
Responsibility for Technical and Website Knowledge
Participants are responsible for having a working knowledge and availability to the particular Web conferencing platform PRIOR to the first session. For instance, participants should check to see that they have the most current update for the particular platform and that their systems are working properly. There are no refunds or technical assistance for technical difficulties on your side of the screen. Should the Center’s website encounter substantial difficulties, that session will be postponed to the next session date. It is advised that each participant have a hard copy available with the Zoom Session ID Number and Password.
Termination of Use
The Center may terminate any participant’s use of the Website for any reason, without notice. A violation of the Terms of Use would be one example. It is assumed that appropriate Web conduct is already engaged in by the participants, who have been using Zoom and other similar platforms and / or social media. However, should any situation arise that crosses the boundary of propriety and / or is harmful to others, the offending participant shall be removed immediately and potentially be barred from further participation. There will be no refunds. Examples of impropriety / offensiveness would include, but are not limited to, online solicitation of products or services, pornography, indecent exposure, stalking, harassment, bullying, hateful / abusive / slurs / discrimination, portraying acts of violence and / or obscene / vulgar language.
Refund Policy
There are no refunds after the first or only day of the event or program. Any credit card transactional charges will apply to refund. Otherwise please email The Olive Tree Center for Applied Consciousness and Metaphysical Research by using the Contact Form and select “Refund.”

The Center may change these Terms of Use at any time, without notice. By using this Website, you accept that the most current Terms of Use will be in effect.
